The earth is sick

I have no idea how many of you felt the tremors yesterday around 6:20pm. It was caused by strong quake in Indonesia, a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's south Sumatra at 6.16pm yesterday. I live in a condominium...yesterday as I was surfing the net, I felt my hands and legs were shaking by itself. Instantly I asked my mum and sister if they felt it too, they said no, in less than a few seconds, the tremors grew stronger and this time they felt it.

I sat freezed on the chair, was thinking what I should do if the tremors grow stronger and stronger, this reminded me of the Tsunami 2004 in Phuket Thailand, only Joan and I in my family felt the tremors as it was midnight.

Phuket is only 45 minutes away from KL, by flight. Not to mention Penang, I would say it's just next to Phuket. Before the tsunami hit Penang on 2004 earthquake, if someone ever mentioned natural disasters in Malaysia, most of the people would just laughed about it. None of us ever imagined earthquake/typhoon or any natural disaster in Malaysia. Click here for Tsunami News for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Nobody would believe..but it did happened.
Malaysia, is a country I thought would never have natural disasters got hit by Tsunami.

Whilst waiting for the Influenza A (H1N1) virus to die off (whatever you call it), the earthquake hits Metro Manila, Mindor, and then now Southern Sumatra, Indonesia. A lot a lot a lot of people died, when would this figure slow down?

It is very sickening, extremely sickening..is the earth sick or, we, as human beings need to take responsibility to all these? Are we the sick one?
Maybe...I said maybe we are the virus, consuming the lifespan of this planet bit by bit every single day, just like how H1N1 consume lives

Please...please stop

You didn't feel the tremors? Maybe because you are walking or engaged with something, or maybe because you are not in tall buildings! -_-"

Yes it seems that the Earth is sick. I read a disturbing statistic about 70% of all the world's earthquakes happening in that area of the Pacific Ocean.

The H1N1 is likely to be a neighbor we'll be living with for the foreeable future. We'll just have to learn how to be a good neighbor with it.

I do think that we might consider something about the efforts to "save the Earth." The Earth will be here long after people have gone away. From my view I don't believe for a second that the Earth is in any danger...it's us who might want to see changing our activity as a matter of survival. I'm saddest for those people who contribute the least to our global problems, being ask to shoulder most of the consequences.

Sorry to be a wet-blanket to your blog today.

As a Christian here is what I think is happening...........

Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately , saying , Tell us, when shall these things be ? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5. For many shall come in my name, saying , I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled : for all these things must come to pass , but the end is not yet.
7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers (many) places.
8. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
