The first tetanus vaccine in my life

Something terrible happened on me this morning

T__T

This silly steel ruler, caused it. The story is like this, I put this steel ruler in a pencil holder, I accidentally scratched myself when I took something from Kevin. He was sitting, and I was standing, maybe the angle wasn't right, I didn't notice the ruler was there until that GREAT ruler said HI to me.

Both of us were frightened, I thought it would be a very deep cut, after all the edges of the ruler is so sharp, as sharp as a knife. Immediately, Kevin brought me to see a doctor nearby my office.

AND, the doctor gave me a tetanus shot and a small tube of cream. I think I've never had a tetanus vaccine before. Do you need a tetanus shot?
I was so scared, I asked the doctor:

"Dr. Lai, will it leave a scar?

"Hmmm...it's not a deep cut, don't worry"

This is not the answer that I expected...can't he say NO? My face looks terrible now, I hope it won't leave a scar on my face. I cried...nope, I didn't. HAhaha, although I was depressed. Sometimes I'm really proud of myself, at least I could still cam-whoring with a scar on my face.
LOL! The scar won't go even if I kill myself with a plastic knife, right?

SAD VIOLET

GOD, I'm not pretty, so please don't make me uglier!!! Maybe YOU just wanna punish me, because I said "Why my blog is always about foods?" So now YOU are giving me something "special" to blog about. No thanks, I don't want surprises, I prefer foods blog. LOL!

Kevin said I still look pretty with that scar...Gua gua gua...he is always too nice to me :( FACE is TOO IMPORTANT to LADIES. Alright, I got over it, I'm fine now. I'm GLAD the ruler didn't poke into myself. Phew! God bless me! ^^

Tea time!

Sigh...my hope the scar will leave me as soon as possible, BYE BYE forever, Scar. I hope I will never see you again

Food, food and foods

I guess steamboat (hot pot) is fine for my diet, it's not fried food, and not too oily.
Yesterday we decided to try The Steamboat Ketam Village in Ikano, actually they have another branch in Parkcity :)

I wouldn't say it's inexpensive, you know...the steamboat buffet style in various restaurants only charge about RM18++ per pax, and this one...

My favourite egg rolls fishballs

Tom yam soup

they charge about RM40++, only few fishballs, 2 small slices of chicken, 2 small shrimps and veggies. Hmmm...not a good price. Ah, but the Tom Yam soup was very nice! Really love it :D I'll go back because of the soup and environment ^^

The Tom Yam soup was too spicy, made me cough, well...I still love it ;)

Walking around the mall

My new one...
It's quite difficult to walk with this pair

Nope...I didn't take off my shoes in the mall, I took this before I went out :)

At night, dinner in Kluang Station, Parkcity :)

If you remember my previous blog, their Hainanese Chicken chop is only so-so. However, I thought Kluang Station in Parkcity might serve better chicken chop and Kevin promised he will eat with me (so I don't have to worry much about the calories). Can't help, too miss it.

Opps, it was really different, this one came with a bun, hahaha :P

Mee Siam

I just realised something, why my blog is always full of foods?

Don't cry out loud, Melissa Manchester

I'm listening to th
is(click),
Sad I failed to get Melissa Manchester's video :(

Baby cried the day the circus came to town

'cause she didn't want parades just passin' by her
So she painted on a smile and took up with some clown
While she danced without a net upon the wire
I know a lot about 'er 'cause, you see
Baby is an awful lot like me

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside, learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all

Baby saw that when they pulled that big top down
They left behind her dreams among the litter
The different kind of love she thought she'd found
There was nothin' left but sawdust and some glitter
But baby can't be broken 'cause you see
She had the finest teacher-that was me-I told 'er

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost made it

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all

Oatmeal

So, this is my favourite, Quaker Oatmeal ;)
I love it, isn't because I'm on diet, but I really love the taste. 3 tablespoons of Oatmeal, and a tablespoon of milk powder (I always add Nestle Omega). Hmmm...Heaven! ^^

I'm okay with Quaker Instant oatmeal, but I still prefer Quaker Quickcook. By the way, do you think I'm very free? Cooking in the office doesn't seems to be a very wise idea, LOL! Usually, I pour boiling water in a ceramic bowl, and cover the bowl with a small plate. 15 minutes later, add in milk powder and it's ready to serve.

I only love when it's served in a bowl, the taste just won't be the same if I use mug for oatmeal. Weirdo :P But there is a problem, there were no bowls in the office. I used mug to make oatmeal for all the while, until that day, Kevin's mum brought us some glass plates and bowls.

I was very happy! But I know I shouldn't pour boiling water in a glass bowl, it will break. Anyway, I decided to experiment the heat-resistant of the glass bowl. 15 minutes later, it was ALRIGHT! It didn't break and my oatmeal tasted great in it! :D

So the second day, I use the same bowl for my oatmeals.

OUCHHH!!!
It hurts!!!

My first thought was
"I'm going to die I'm going to die, the glass will go in my flesh and my arteries will lead the glass to my heart, I will die young"

HAHAHAHA, kidding only :P

It was really hurt, I just let it go

HAPPY Bokeh :P
You can't see from the photo, but it was REALLY PAINFUL, glad the bowl didn't cut my hand.

A photo of me with the corpse

Sigh...I've got to use mug for my oatmeal again.

Why does a glass break when you pour boiling water in it?

Pak Li's, Station one

Today is a happy day :)

I was wearing something that I like to work, Kevin bought it a month ago, but I didn't have mood to wear it to work (I wear depends on my mood). Maybe because I wrote down what's on my mind for years last night, that's why I felt released today..

We went for lunch in Pak Li Kopitiam, I didn't diet today, I ordered Pak Li Nasi Lemak special for myself.

And Fried Kuey Teow for Kevin

I coughed badly...I don't intend to see any doctors, because medicines won't help (in my case)
Hmmm...Kevin enjoyed himself by taking photos of me, coughing non-stop

At night, we had our dinner in Station One Cafe. Kevin spent more time on me today, perhaps he sensed that I wasn't happy yesterday :)
