Teehee! Beerrry happi!

Holy cow!
It's 4:30am right now, and I'm still awake :S

In fact I didn't sleep for the whole night, still in the office....BUT I'm extremely happy!!! :D

Hehee!
Finally...I've completed the final chapter of my very headache thesis, I need to thank my supervisor Mr.Kumar and my Fiance...Kevin Koo :')
Yeah yeah, I took a long long time to do my thesis, so what? At least I managed to submit before deadline :P

I am not sleepy at all, but my eyes are dry, shouldn't wear contact lenses for more than 17 hours, bloody hell! My eyes are really sensitive for these few months, should say, since I work for Kevin. Previously when I was jobless (LOL!), I met him 3-4 times in a week, so it was OK. But since I started my work as a multi purpose cleaner/maid, my eyes started to dry, red easily... :'( So I knew I couldn't wear contact lenses everyday.

Since then, I only wear lenses on Saturday, SERIOUSLY! I look old with my glasses on, my friends especially Ket, she saw me that day and said:

"Huh? Y** M** (Boo hoo)!! You are wearing glasses...hmm..."

"Yeah yeah, I know I look old..."
At first, I thought she's say I still looked young bla bla bla...to console me, but,

"Hmm...yeah...hahahaha"
Don't know why, she was very happy seeing me in glasses...
Actually I know the reason, I bought this pair of glasses from her, the original price was over a thousand, but...I have special discount, KAKAKAKAKA, for me only!

I have a minute wonder
(-_-")... ......
Why didn't she lie?

Anyway, this was why I love her and Cyn, sometimes they are too honest and make me wanna bite and eat them alive :P

I'm still very happy, from now on, I can concentrate on knitting and watching movies, and sleeping and eating and knitting and movies, and...knitting and sleeping and... AHEM! I mean, working. I'm getting dizzy, maybe too hungry :(

Kevin is sleeping like a baby, he was exhausted...has been busy working on my thesis for the past 10 hours, he restructured almost all of the chapters.. He is a perfectionist. HMMM! I hope I will get good score this time ^^

I wanted to go home, but Kevin is still sleeping, I'm still considering to give him a slap on his face to wake him up.

You know I'm kidding :P

I must find myself something else to do, sleeping seems to be a very good idea! I only have one problem right now...I'm not sleepy, how to sleep? And, I'm wearing lenses, how to sleep? I just realised I have got 2 problems -_-

Night night, and good morning to you :)

爱上一个不回家的人,林忆莲

IMG_0721a123

Suddenly, I'm so into this song
It's in Mandarin, named 爱上一个不回家的人,the singer is 林忆莲
Click to listen, you might need an online translator :)

It's considered an oldies, 80's

Don't worry I'm fine, that's just a photo which I think it goes well with the song. It does not reflect my current condition :)

I didn't sleep well last night, the weather was too bad. It was cold, windy at 11pm, and sicking hot at 3am.

(-_-")... ......

SO today, I napped in the office, erm, should have said sleep in the office, for......3 hours. Hahahaha. I think somebody hired me to sleep in his office. Ooh no no no no no, shouldn't say like this, afraid that "somebody" will get to read it :P

I'm very busy with my thesis currently, rushing rushing...gotta submit it before my trip. HOPEFULLY by 24th this month :)

Time for bed, goodnight, night night...

Thesis problem solved

This week is definitely a busy week, I went out for lunch with Kevin and his dad's friends, an entrepreneur and an architect yesterday. Both of them are over 50 years old.

In fact, the objective for meeting up was very simple, if you remember my thesis...non of the hotels allowed me (or anybody) to do surveys in their hotels, so this entrepreneur Mr. Wong has got a friend, who named Joe.

Mr. Joe is an architect, he has a lot of friends in hospitality industry, so Mr.Wong introduced me to him, asked him for a favour...this was why, we met up for lunch. Our appointment was set at 1230pm in Mr. Wong's office, but Kevin and I were late!! It was all because of Kevin, hmmmm!

I drove Kevin there, 120km/hr...not a good practice, won't do it again (hopefully). That's very cute of Mr.Wong and Mr.Joe, they thought...

"So you are the lady who wants to interview the general manager?"

Huh??
What???
My mind was blank, apparently they misunderstood, they thought I wanted to interview the general manager. Hahahahahaha! I laughed out loud :P

Mr.Wong has a chauffeur, he drove us to a hotel which is located in KL area (not going to tell you which hotel). Mr. Joe introduced me to the hotel manager, she is a lady. She browsed through the questionnaires, said:

"Should be no problem, when do you want to do it? Today?"

I was soooo happy!!!!!
I don't have to worry about my thesis anymore! ^^

I really need to thank Mr.Wong and Mr.Joe! :D
And not forgotten, Kevin's dad. Actually Mr.Wong is Kevin's dad's client, they know each other for years :)

THANK YOU!!! ^^

My super headache thesis- part 3

I didn't give up after so many NO NO NO NO NO from tonnes of hotels, finally I decided to some sort of "giving up" after I contacted the hotel which recommended by Mr Anand.

I was extremely disappointed!

Well, I still need to thank Mr. Anand, because he really tried to help me. The only thing is...the F&B director (of that hotel) Mr XXX that my college principal and Mr Anand know is unable to help. No...I should say, he is willing to help, but he said I can only interview his managers and take photos in the hotel, basically everything but NO questionnaires in the whole process.

What the heck?
What is the point?

At first his attitude was good, after I told him about my inquiry, his tone of voice changed, he started to be impatient.

"No no no, you can't do this. You shouldn't approach our guests. You see, I don't think there are any hotels allow students to do questionnaires in the hotels. No you just can't do this."

I was glad we were talking on the phone, at least I don't have to force myself to smile at him. I forgave him, maybe he just argued with his wife last night, that's why his mood was bad.

Mr Anand was surprised to know his friend, Mr XXX didn't offer his help, anyway, Mr Anand suggested me to do the questionnaires in a hospital.

:(

I didn't want to change the topic...I've prepared everything. But seriously I really need to find an alternative, I cannot just wait and die.

I should try hospitals...
Hmmm...wait, why didn't I choose restaurants instead?!

I can do questionnaires in restaurants right? It's hospitality industry!

^^

Muahahaha

Right now, I should focus on restaurants or hospitals.
By the way, I'm not giving up hotels too ;)

All the best Violet!

My super headache thesis- part 2

Mr Anand got back to me today, he asked if I'm OK with a 4-star hotel.
Of course I wouldn't mind, in fact that was my initial intention, right? :D

He promised to give me the contact of the respective hotel tomorrow...well, I hope he wouldn't say:

"I'm so sorry, they refused my application!"

That would be disastrous :(

Anyway, my ex-classmate's daddy is the General Manager of a 5 star hotel in Putrajaya, I met him in college few weeks ago. He offered me to do my research in his dad's hotel, but unfortunately I didn't know finding a hotel is SO TOUGH! If I knew it, I won't bother it's a 4 or 5 star hotel. What's worst? I don't have his mobile number! :(

Sigh!
I put all of my hopes on Mr. Anand now, if he couldn't help, I will jump off from my balcony! :P
Hahaha!

My super headache thesis!

:(((

I thought finding a hotel to do survey is pretty easy, but well in fact...
IT'S SUPER TOUGH!

I called so many hotels,
all said the same thing

"I'm sorry but I think it's quite impossible..."
Because, I might interrupt their service performance/service delivery! :(

I really understand why they do not encourage students or anybody to conduct survey in their hotels, because if I were the hotel owner, I don't think I allow people to do surveys in my hotel too. Guests may not like the idea, may find it's disturbing.

But right now, I'm super headache!

How am I going to complete my thesis?!

I called my thesis supervisor Mr Kumar, he said I should try another industry...when I asked for his opinion, he said I need to figure it out myself. Gosh! I'm only asking for opinions. Alright, now I know why other students are... forget about it, I don't want to do all these backstabbing stuff.

Then I called my module facilitator Mr Anand, so kind of him, he said he is going to a 5 star hotel (not going to reveal the name here) tonight, and he will ask if they could help me. Seriously I am not sure if the hotel can help, but then...Mr. Anand's effort is very much appreciated!

I'm not optimistic, but I'm hopeful...I really hope the hotel could help :((

I'm really disappointed...it's not as easy as I thought

Questionnaires, thesis

I met Mr Kumar yesterday, showed him the draft of the questionnaire that I prepared. I almost completed Chapter 1, 2 and 3, only need to work on my chapter 4 and 5.
Wow, I thought I would take at least 2 weeks for a chapter, who knows...3 weeks 2 chapters, I'm pretty fast and "efficient" at doing my work huh? I've never thought of that :P

To be frank, I don't really have much time, remember?
I need to submit it by 15 of May...

Chapter 4 is the analysis of the questionaires and chapter 5 would be the conclusions and recommendations. Mr Kumar said the questionnaires that I've prepared are okay, but he wanted me to add more questions on each section...add at least another 10 more questions. (-_-")

10 more questions?
Not easy at all... :(

If questions such as

"What is your surname?"
"What is your last name?"
"What is your nick name?"
"What is your nanny name?"
"What is your dog's name?"
"What is your cat's name?"
"What is your teddy bear's name?"
"What is the name of the lizard on the wall of your living room?"
"What is the name of the ant in your balcony?"
"What is the name of the monkey in the zoo...?"

I promise I can come out with a thousand of questions like that, but 10 more questions on my thesis? Sigh...I won't forget I need to do analysis after collecting the questionnaires.

Wait...I just remember something
I need to find at least 100 people to do the questionnaires.

Good GOD!
Do I need to prepare sweets or chocolates for the people who helps me to do the questionnaires? Or pen is better...? Eraser? Sharpener? Beg them to fill up...and promise will treat them sweets after that...
HmMmmmmmm...
But I'm afraid my "audiences" are not kids.
They don't need sharpeners, erasers, pencil and sweets.

Sorry sorry,
I forgot to tell, the survey will be conducted in a local hotel.
Ggggggggggggggggg.........................................................................

And what's more?
I won't be doing it in a 5 star hotel, because 3-4 star hotels are believed to have more problems to write...ooh no I mean, more...more......ermmm, well, just more to write :P
Hahaha :')
But one thing is for sure la, I won't conduct it in a motel.
Not I look down on people who stays in motel, but
Do you know why...?

First, I need Malaysians to do this survey
And, I think most of the Malaysians (single an lonely, ahem..) who choose to stay in motel are..looking for "special service". Other than that, people who stay in motels are mainly backpackers (foreigners), as I mentioned, I need Malaysians to do this survey ;)

Besides, I don't think they are willing to spend time to do the questionnaires.
Imagine, when I interview guest A in a motel lobby, let's say the motel is located in Jonker Street.
Can I ask "Are you a regular guest of this motel?"

"Ermmm...yeah"

"How do you find the service of this motel?"

"Good, gooood!
...The girls are all beau-ti-ful and h-o-t...with big b**bs and big b*tts" guest A murmuring

"Where do you live?"

"I live near Jonker Street..."

All of a sudden, a lady with a giant saw came in
"HEY!!!! Ah Beng, what are you doing here? I thought you are in outstation with your boss? You lied at me!!! I'm going to chop you into pieces!!!" Apparently, she is Guest A's wife.

"Who are you?! You must be working here, aren't you?!" She opens her eyes widely and stares at me.

"No...I'm not......" I'm so scared

"You must be a wh*re! Ah Lian, where is my scissors? I wanna cut your hair! You bitch!"

"NOOOOO PLEASEEEEEEEEE, I love my hair"

Muahahahahaha :'P
I think too much

Anyway, I must find 100 people to do the questionnaires, I give myself 2 weeks.
Yo people, wish me luck! ^^
