Tasik Dayang Bunting, Lake of The Pregnant Maiden

55 photos :)

Monkeys were everywhere, but glad they were not as aggressive as the monkeys in Ulu Watu, Bali

Dayang Bunting Island is not really a small island, we only went to the famous Dayang Bunting Lake. There's a story telling women will get pregnant if they drink water from the lake.

Heading to the lake, it was about 15-20 minutes walk from jetty

I like this pic! ^^

Reached! ^^

This is the Lake of The Pregnant Maiden! :D

Monkeys again...I dislike monkeys...but sometimes I think I like monkeys -_-"
One thing for sure, I like Chimpanzee very very much! They are TOO CUTE!! :P

People doing "fish spa"
You will find out later :P

Sharon

We didn't swim, none of us intend to have babies before we get married :P

Christine

Ket and I

I have no idea why Ket looked sad there :P

We really had fun! ^^

Going back to "fish spa" now

Christine and I decided to give it a try, it's free of charge by the way, hehee
These are catfish, Kevin's favourite :P

It was a little...scary
Christine was too scared to put her feet in..and I was like "I can do this I can do this I can do this..." forced myself to relax -_-"

Well at least we did it ^^

Keep Langkawi Islands clean, we got the message ;)

A photo before we moved to the next station, Pulau Beras Basah, a.k.a. Wet Rice Island (funny name) :P

Hmmm...so why are all you ladies walking down to the lake, if it means you'll get pregnant? Could it be.... hahaha

That's mean teasing those monkeys, telling them if they look inside the can they might find a free round-trip ticket to KL. MEAN!!!! haha Those monkeys are really comfortable around people, but I've been around some wild ones and they're really unpredictable. ^_^

So...you're going down to the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden, and then taking all those pics of this guy looking sexy with no shirt on. I wonder what 1 + 1 equals here? haha Now I know what that sign means when it says "...keep Langkawi clean"...they mean clean THOUGHTS! haha I'm telling Kevin! ^_*

You know they have these new spas that opened in the Washington DC area, where you get pedicures using fish. They nibble away dead skin from your feet, but not the young skin underneath. I don't know the cost, but it looks a lot like what you're doing in those photos...for free! ^_^

Thanks for sharing V V! Looks like an unforgettable experience with your friends. ^_^

Actually fish spa is very common in Asia too! But I've never tried before...until that day! It was funny seeing fishes nibbling your feet, hey you should go to try it!! :D
I hope you wouldn't scream like my friend and I :P
